Managed enterprise services & custom designed networks:

In today's environment of procuring low risk, high benefit telecommunications solutions without the capital outlay, Transwave ranks amongst the best in overall value and performance.  Whether your needs are 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 155 Mbps or more, Transwave can deliver at a level that you expect!  Utilizing Transwave's existing high capacity carrier grade WNY backbone, Managed Enterprise networks can be easily and rapidly constructed to meet your broadband goals.  Features of our network services include:

  • Rapid Deployment - With Transwave's Managed Services, you don't have to wait months or even years to gain access rights to utility poles or approval to trench across town.  That's right, no approvals for right away permits for traversing over or under major highways, waterways, bridges, public access roads and/or private property to get to your sites!  Networks can be configured easily and rapidly using a combination of carrier grade microwave products in the build-out of our networks.  This includes using FCC Part 15 wireless products for "immediate needs" and Licensed FCC Part 101 microwave products for longer term, mission critical applications.
  • Custom Design Networks - Networks are custom designed and tailored to the clients needs for bandwidth and criticality.  Single strand networks are available to meet most networking departments' needs.  Optional East - West, Loop Protection schemes are available for mission critical requirements.
  • Scalable Symmetrical IP Broadband - Through an economical standard (RJ 45) Ethernet interface, bandwidth can be scaled as your demands change.  TCS's standard offering can accommodate scalability for most data networking requirements up to 25 Mbps.  In fact, Transwave can react to both short term and long term fluctuations in demand!  For more intensive requirement, Transwave can custom build a network with the head room for enough capacity for expansion into the future.  Via wireless, this can be as high as Gigabit levels.  Managed fiber routes can also be provisioned for the very high bandwidth application to terabyte links.
  • T1, DS3, OC3 Enterprise Networks - Transwave can provide options for add on T1's and other higher offer interfaces upon request.
  • Access to major service providers - Transwave can provide options for rapid access to major telecommunication providers through Transwave's network.  Transwave's NOC is conveniently located in the collocation space of Switch & Data at the Main Place Tower in Buffalo, NY.  This is a major telecommunciations collocation facility located in the heart of the business district.  At this facility, you have access to multiple upstream providers and major telecommunication carriers.
  • No reliance on the Local Loop - Transwave's network is totally independent of the local carrier loop.  There is no ILEC or CLEC component to our network.  If you are shopping for a primary provider, Transwave is a great choice because we can typically deliver more bandwidth for greater economics as compared to other traditional carrier solutions.  We are often the BEST CHOICE for redundancy because we have no reliance on the local loop providers.
  • Reliable Internet Options - Transwave's network has been designed with ample capacity at the core, with room to grow as our demands grow.  At the core, we are multi-homed to diverse upstream Internet providers.  We have engineered using sound principles in our design, reputable manufacturers of core routing and distribution equipment, a loop protected backbone, battery backup at key sites, and much more.
  • Competitive Access Pricing - Transwave's intent is to provide you with more for less!  Because we are independent of the local carrier loop, our pricing is indicative of the savings.
  • No Capital Investment Costs & No Maintenance Costs - Transwave's standard agreement includes a low installation charge based on a specified contractual period, typically one year or more.  Because Transwave retains ownership of all customer premise equipment, it is TCS's responsibility to maintain the equipment for the duration of the contract.
  • Optional CPE Equipment - Optional CPE equipment can be added to our network services including Cameras, Routers, Switches, T1 Gateways, Traffic Monitoring and Management Hardware and/or Software, Firewalls, VOIP systems, and more.
  • First Class Network Management, Support and Service - Transwave's network services are monitored 24 x 7 x 365.  Technical support is also available and ready to serve you 24 x 7 x 365.  This staff is highly trained and competent to assist you in the event of any network issues.
